The laboratory analytical results of the
groundwater samples collected from monitor wells DWS-1, DWS-2, and DWS-3 on May 5, 2005, are
generally consistent with the historical laboratory results. Nitrate-N was detected above the California
Department of Health Services (DHS) Primary Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 10 milligrams
per liter (mg/L) in the groundwater sample collected from DWS-3. Laboratory EC values were above the
recommended DHS Secondary MCL of 900 µmhos/cm, but below the upper level of 1,600 µmhos/em in
all of the groundwater samples: TDS were detected at concentrations above the DHS Secondary MCL of
500 mg/L in the all of the groundwater samples, but below the upper level of 1,000 mg/L. TKN was not
detected in any of the groundwater samples collected at the Site during the current monitoring event. The
groundwater gradient on May 9, 2005 was generally to the west in the vicinity of DWS-1 through DWS-3
(see Figure 3). Refer to Appendix D for historical groundwater monitoring data. The next annual
sampling event is scheduled for May 2006.
LIMITATIONS AND SIGNATURE
Condor developed the interpretations and conclusions presented herein in accordance with generally
accepted principles and practice.
