Annual Domestic Wastewaker system Groundwater Monitoring Report
Sutter Home Winery,Lodi,CA
July 22,2005
Page 2
samples were inspected for floating product, sheen, discoloration, and odor. No floating product, sheen, or
odor was noted in the groundwater purged from the wells. The monitor wells were purged with new,
disposable, polyethylene bailers until at least three well-casing volumes of water were removed and the
electrical conductivity, pH, and temperature of the water stabilized. The groundwater purged from the
wells was discharged to the ground surface. Groundwater Monitoring Field Forms completed for the work
are attached.
The groundwater samples were collected by filling laboratory-supplied containers with groundwater
directly from the disposable bailers. The sample containers were labeled, placed in a cooler chilled with
ice, and delivered in accordance with chain-of-custody procedures to GeoAnalytical Laboratories, Inc., in
Modesto, California, within 24 hours of sample collection.
GROUNDWATER ELEVATIONS
As specified in the MRP, groundwater level measurements were collected from all ten monitoring wells at
the Site. Groundwater elevation data are presented in Table 1, below. The water level measurements
collected from the ten wells on May 9, 2005, indicate a groundwater gradient generally to the west in the
vicinity of DWS-1 through DWS-3. Groundwater Monitoring Field Forms containing field measurements
are attached.
Table 1 --Groundwater Elevation Data(May 9, 2005)
Monitor Well Well Collar Ground Surface Depth to Groundwater
Elevation Elevation Water Elevation
GW-1 13.80 11.0 7.85 5.95
GW-2 10.27 7.3 5.56 4.71
GW-3 11.14 8.2 6.62 4.52
GW-4 9.85 6.9 7.27 2.58
k
GW-5 8.98 6.0 6.50 2.48
GW-6 7.99 5.1 4.67 3.32
GW-7 8.62 5.7 5.10 3.52
DWS-1 7.76 6.4 3.39 4.37
DWS-2 7.97 6.6 3.79 4.18
DWS-3 7.31 6.4 3.60 3.71
Measurements are in feet.
well collar elevation referenced relative to Condor Control Point 1.
LABORATORY ANALYTICAL RESULTS
The groundwater samples collected from the domestic wastewater system monitor wells were analyzed
for nitrate as nitrogen (N), total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), total dissolved solids (TDS), and specific
conductivity (EC) by GeoAnaiytical Laboratories, Inc. of Modesto, California. Laboratory certificates of
analysis and chain-of-custody records are included in Attachment C. The laboratory analytical results and
field parameters are summarized in Table 2, on the next page.
I
CONDOR
I
