L �■ KLEINEELDER <br /> 7 INTERVIEWS <br /> L <br /> LKleinfelder attempted to contact key site managers to obtain current and historical environmental <br /> information concerning the subject site. Key site managers may include current or past owners <br /> Lof the site, managers, or current occupants on site. Interviews were limited, to a maximum of <br /> two selected key site managers. Two key site managers were provided to Kleinfelder for this <br /> Lassessment. <br /> LLocal government officials were interviewed to obtain further information about environmental <br /> enforcement actions pending or ongoing at the site and adjacent facilities, or relevant permits <br /> j (e.g. building, air quality, well abandonment, etc.) for the site and adjacent facilities. <br /> L <br /> Copies of telephone conversation records included in Appendix D and summaries of the <br /> L discussions are included in Chapter 4.0 of this report. The following sections highlight <br /> environmental conditions revealed during the interviews. <br /> L <br /> 7.1. INTERVIEW WITH OWNER/MANAGER <br /> An interview was conducted with Mr. Wayne LeBaron on October 3, 2001 regarding history and <br /> past uses of the site. According to Mr. LeBaron, the site has been used for vineyards since atleast <br /> 1971. Prior to this time, the site was used as grazing land. Mr. LeBaron stated that an onsite <br /> well and pump are located along the southwest portion of the site. The system is used to supply <br /> L water to the vineyards. Mr. LeBaron also filled out a copy of the ASTM site questionnaire. A <br /> copy of the questionnaire can be found in Appendix D of this report. <br /> L. <br /> 7.2.
