Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> CE. # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone: ( 209) 368-4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study on the David and Barbara Dodson <br /> property consisting of separating out a 2 . 39 acres parcel <br /> from a larger agricultural parcel . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the David and <br /> Barbara Dodson property located at 1300 East Jahant Road , Acampo , <br /> California. <br /> Existing Septic Systems : <br /> Existing San Joaquin County records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. <br /> No permits were found for the subject property and only two <br /> permits were available for other properties in the general area. <br /> These permits were dated in July 1984 and July 1989 . Al l of the <br /> noted installations used a combination of 40 feetlong leech lines <br /> with either 33" or 36" diameter pits at the end of the lines to a <br /> depth of 25 feet . <br /> No failures or repairs were noted on these facilities <br /> their installation. since <br /> Existing Use: <br /> The land surrounding the separated out parcel , Parcel No . 1 , <br /> as well as Parcel No . 1 is devoted presently to the agricultural <br /> pursuit of growing hay. <br /> Water was obtained from an existing well at the homesite at <br /> the northeast corner of the remainder parcel and tested for DBCP <br /> and nitrates . <br /> Soil Profile Test : <br /> Using the difference in elevation of the natural higher ground <br /> and a drainage swale , two holes (one on the high ground and other <br /> in the drainage swale) were excavated for the Soil Profile Study <br /> and no water is evident to a depth of 14 . 5 feet .
