The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating <br /> proposed staff,customers,and winery waste use which indicates that the area is suitable for septic <br /> tank usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permits(Development Title Section <br /> 9-1105.2[d]).. A nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at the <br /> time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic.tank practice <br /> of the EPA Design,Manual for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems is required for <br /> each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. State on revised plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage disposal <br /> system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field area will be <br /> barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This leach field area <br /> must be used for that speck purpose only, and it cannot contain any underground utilitState on <br /> revised plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage disposal system is <br /> being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field area will be barricaded so <br /> it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. This leach field area must be used <br /> for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any underground utility lines(Development Title <br /> Section 9-1110.4[c][51). In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100 percent designed <br /> sewage disposal replacement area. <br /> c. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to final map recordation. A percolation test and a sewage disposal area, as determined by the <br /> percolation test, are required prior to Environmental Health Department approval. A permit for the <br /> percolation test must be obtained from the Environmental Health Department(Development Title <br /> Sections 9-1110.3, 9-1110.4(c),and 9-1110.5). <br /> d. Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, prior to development(Water Code, Article 5, Section 13280). <br /> NOTE: The applicant shall provide the Environmental Health Department written approval for winery <br /> waste removal to an approved site until Regional Board approval. <br /> e. Construction of individual sewage disposal systems under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the soil <br /> suitability/nitrate loading findings(Development Title Sections 9-11103. and 9-1110.4) <br /> f. The Environmental Health Department requires any abandoned wells to be destroyed under permit <br /> and inspection by the Environmental Health Department(Development Title Section 9-1115.5[e]). <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department cannot support the use of agricultural wells for <br /> domestic purposes. <br /> g. Construct water wells under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department prior to <br /> occupancy. Should the number of non-resident individuals exceed 24 for at least 60 days per year, <br /> or the number of service connections exceed four, a yearly permit to operate a public water system <br /> will be required by the Environmental Health Department(Development Title Sections 9-1120.2 and <br /> 9-1115.9). <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to ensure <br /> San Joaquin County PA-0500424/Lange <br /> tri Community Development Page 14 <br />
