Martin PLANNING DIVISION <br /> San Joaquin County Planning Division <br /> 1810 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> RE: MS-91-42 <br /> Phillips Property <br /> Lind's Airport <br /> Dear Mr. Martin: <br /> Thank you for referring the above-referenced proposal to the San Joaquin County <br /> Airport Land Use Commission for review and comment. <br /> The property is located 13/4 miles from the Lind's Airport 11-29 runway. This location <br /> falls within the Conical Imaginary Surface, outside of the 60 dB CNEL noise contour. <br /> While residential uses are permitted within this zone, certain restrictions apply to any <br /> new construction or modifications to the property. Reflective materials that may blind <br /> or otherwise distract pilots are prohibited. In addition, dumps, landfills or waterways <br /> (including large drainage ponds) are restricted if they present a bird hazard. A list of <br /> all the restrictions that apply within this zone are attached. Future residents should also <br /> be aware that the property is subject to frequent overflight and accompanying noise <br /> disturbances. <br /> Provided that the applicant complies with the attached restrictions, the ALUC staff <br /> finds that this application for minor subdivision is in compliance with the Airport Land <br /> Use Plan. <br /> Please contact me or Debra Hale of my staff should you have any questions <br /> concerning this matter. <br /> truly yours, <br /> PETER D.
