following note: <br /> (1) Pursuant to Section 9-1510.5 of the San Joaquin County Development Title, this area is <br /> designated as a natural open space for riparian habitat and waterway protection. No <br /> development other than water dependent uses shall be permitted in this space. <br /> g. CULTURAL RESOURCES: If, in the course of development, concentrations of prehistoric or <br /> historic-period materials are encountered, all work in the vicinity of the find shall halt until an <br /> archaeologist can evaluate the materials and make recommendations for further action. If human <br /> remains are encountered, all work shall halt in the vicinity, and the County Coroner shall be notified <br /> immediately. At the same time, a qualified archaeologist shall be contacted to evaluate the finds. If <br /> Human burials are found to be of Native American origin, steps shall be taken pursuant to Section <br /> 15064.5(e)of Guidelines for California Environmental Quality Act. <br /> h. UNIFORM FIRE CODE The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> 2. COUNTY COUNSEL <br /> a. HOLD HARMLESS PROVISION: Pursuant to Section 66474.9 of the Government Code, the <br /> subdivider shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the local agency or its agents, officers, and <br /> employees from any claim, action, or proceeding against the local agency or its agents, officers, or <br /> employees to attack, set aside, void, or annul an approval of the local agency, advisory agency, <br /> appeal board, or legislative body concerning a subdivision, which action is brought within the time <br /> provided for in Section 66499.37 of the Government Code. <br /> 3. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (See the attached memo dated June 19, 2003.) <br /> 4.
