The yard waste will be screened, ground, and sorted at a certified <br /> recycling facility before it will be brought to the approximately 1.5-acre project site by truck. The yard waste <br /> will be spread into three windrows up to 300 feet in length and five feet in height. The windrows will be <br /> monitored for temperature and humidity and turned when indicated with a windrow-turning machine. After <br /> the composting process is complete, the compost will be transported and applied to the vineyards on the <br /> same property and to adjacent vineyards owned by the applicant. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Approval.
