One permit for installation of a ne%k septic system in 2003 Ivas on file. A copy of the permit has been included in Appendix F. 3.1.6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map 60612 was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on September 5, 2007. Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. The subject property was observed to be an agricultural field and an aviation facility for dusting crops. There was an 8,000 square foot hangar, two modular office buildings, a wash area and ,. lined drainage pond. Large areas of the property were paved; minor staining was observed. A slight sulfur smell was present at the time of the site visit. An agricultural chemical storage area was observed. The chemicals were contained in a fence with a "danger poison storage area" sign on the gate. All chemicals on the property were on crates. Empty chemical containers were also stored within a fence. Fifty-five gallon drums and five gallon buckets lined this fence. There were approximately five open buckets of waste oil, ` between a quarter to half full. An above ground storage tank, on crates, was observed on the property. Minor soil staining was observed to the west of the tank. One pole-mounted transformer was observed on the southern portion of the property. A blue PCB-free sticker was observed. No leaking or staining was observed. Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of the subject property was an agricultural field. To the south was equipment storage and agricultural fields. To the east was a residence, Kasson Road, then agricultural fields.
