One permit for <br /> installation of a ne%k septic system in 2003 Ivas on file. A copy of the permit has been included <br /> in Appendix F. <br /> 3.1.6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map 60612 was <br /> reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells <br /> are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on September 5, 2007. <br /> Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site <br /> visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be an agricultural field and an aviation facility for dusting <br /> crops. There was an 8,000 square foot hangar, two modular office buildings, a wash area and <br /> ,. lined drainage pond. <br /> Large areas of the property were paved; minor staining was observed. A slight sulfur smell was <br /> present at the time of the site visit. An agricultural chemical storage area was observed. The <br /> chemicals were contained in a fence with a "danger poison storage area" sign on the gate. All <br /> chemicals on the property were on crates. <br /> Empty chemical containers were also stored within a fence. Fifty-five gallon drums and five <br /> gallon buckets lined this fence. There were approximately five open buckets of waste oil, <br /> ` between a quarter to half full. <br /> An above ground storage tank, on crates, was observed on the property. Minor soil staining <br /> was observed to the west of the tank. <br /> One pole-mounted transformer was observed on the southern portion of the property. A blue <br /> PCB-free sticker was observed. No leaking or staining was observed. <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of <br /> the subject property was an agricultural field. To the south was equipment storage and <br /> agricultural fields. To the east was a residence, Kasson Road, then agricultural fields.
