NOA's ability to interpret the land <br /> uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, <br /> Vernalis, California, quadrangle map. <br /> In the 1991 map, the subject property is depicted as open land. The property is depicted <br /> approximately 25-35 feet above mean sea level. Surrounding properties are vacant, with dirt <br /> roads. Kasson Road is to the east. <br /> This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> ` An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject <br /> property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental <br /> Questionnalr and Disclosure Statement was completed by John Trinkle, owner of the subject <br /> ` project, on August 29, 2007. Mr. Trinkle indicated that no <br /> spills have occurred on the property. <br /> 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> 3.1 Research Methods <br /> NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing <br /> the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property,,,- <br /> boundaries, <br /> roperty/boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine <br /> address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile.
