• Replacement planting of similar landscape materials and addition of <br /> landscaping. Landscaping shall comply with water efficient landscape <br /> regulations. <br /> d. Exterior Lighting <br /> • New light standards and wail-mounted light fixtures on those sites which do <br /> not involve or abut residential districts or uses. New light fixtures shall match <br /> existing on-site light fixtures in terms of height, style, design and wattage, <br /> and shall be spaced appropriately to maximize pedestrian safety. <br /> e. Parking <br /> • Parking lot configuration changes, provided that minimum parking <br /> requirements are achieved. <br /> f. Trash/Recycling Enclosures, Transformers, Above Ground Tanks, Exterior <br /> Equipment, Equipment Enclosures and Storage Areas <br /> • Trash/recycling, equipment or storage enclosures up to 200 square feet in <br /> size proposed at the rear or side of a building where least visible from public <br /> rights-of-way, and which comply with the following: <br /> • Enclosure may not be approved adjacent to a residential district or use <br /> • Colors and materials of the enclosure shall complement the building and <br /> shall consist of masonry wall such as split face block or masonry finished <br /> to match the building or other solid screening material utilizing colors and <br /> materials which complement the building <br /> • Gates shall be solid metal painting to match the enclosure <br /> • The enclosure shall screen the dumpsters, trash compactors or <br /> equipment <br /> • No net reduction in the number of on-site trees may be approved to <br /> accommodate an enclosure <br /> • When feasible, sides and rear of the enclosure shall be landscaped <br /> g. Above ground transformers and other exterior equipment which are located <br /> around the building which comply with the following: <br /> • Equipment shall not be approved adjacent to a residential district or use <br /> • Equipment shall be completely screened from view by dense shrubbery, <br /> masonry walls or masonry finished to match the building, or other solid <br /> screening material utilizing colors and materials which complement the <br /> building. Chain link fencing with or without slats will not be approved <br /> • On-site parking shall meet minimum standards <br /> • No net reduction in the number of on-site trees may be approved to <br /> accommodate a transformer or equipment <br /> • The installed height of the transformer or equipment shall not exceed ten (10) <br /> feet <br /> h. Temporary contractor's office trailers and construction-related storage trailers in <br /> undeveloped and developed sections of NIJCR which comply with the following: <br /> • The location of such trailers shall not obstruct driveways or traffic access <br /> aisles; the applicant shall demonstrate that parking will not be negatively <br /> impacted <br /> • Colors and materials shall complement the main building, if one exists <br /> • Any exterior noise-generating equipment associated with trailers shall not be <br /> within 300 feet of a residential district or use <br /> • Trailers shall be removed upon cessation of permitted construction activity. <br /> 7 <br />
