The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and run by a State-approved lab. (Planning Title Section 9-10100-05) . C. The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division (San Joaquin County Ordinance 1862 , Section 5-4100) as follows: The well discharge pipe must be plumbed over the top of the standpipe and have twice the diameter of the discharge pipe air gap from top of the stand pipe, or install San Joaquin County approved backflow valves.
