Surface and Subsurface Com <br /> ntamination Report------APN: 053— 15 -04------ arcel Nos. 1, 2, 3, & 4 <br /> No permits were noted for repairing any of the facilities subsequent to their <br /> installation. From the historical septic records there is no indication of septic <br /> contamination problems. <br /> Possible Nitrate Pollution: No animals were seen on the subject property so there does <br /> not appear to be any undue nitrate concentrations because of an overpopulation of <br /> animals. <br /> Possible Chemical Use Contamination In Cron Production: The pesticides and <br /> herbicides used in managing and controlling insects and mites, nematodes and weeds in <br /> the production of grapes and walnuts are contained in"Appendixes II"and III, <br /> respectively. These Appendixes are attached to and made an integral part of this report. <br /> More specific information regarding recommended application rates of the <br /> pesticides and herbicides that are used in producing apples and walnuts can be provided <br /> upon request if it is needed and required. <br /> San Joaquin County Aericultural Commissioners Report: The San Joaquin County <br /> Agricultural Commissioner's Office was requested to access their files and report on any <br /> recorded permit applications and product applications bX the Stokes' family over the last <br /> fly-C (A)years in Section 15 Township 3 North,Range 8 Base and <br /> Meridian. <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office report covered <br /> applications for the subject property. The applications involved the right to purchase and <br /> use pesticides and herbicides in the 1997 and 2000 years. The rights to purchase and use <br /> eight(8)chemical products were contained in their report. <br /> All eight(8)of the chemical products and the pests they would control on the <br /> subject property as follows: <br /> ACRES <br /> DATE PRODUCT PEST FORM INVOLVED <br /> 02/01/97 ALUMINUM PHOSATE Rodents 160 <br /> CAPTON DUST Fungi 160 <br /> CARBARYL 160 <br /> FURADAN Nematode 160 <br /> METHOMYL Larvae 160 <br /> PARAQUAT Weeds 160 <br /> STRYCHNINE Gophers Liquid 160 <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's 5-Year report also <br /> contained State of California-Environmental Protection Agency,Department of Pesticide <br /> Regulation product use reports on the subject property for the 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000 <br /> years.
