On the date of the <br /> 1`11 search pesticides, herbicides, chemicals and fertilizers were properly stored and locked. <br /> Several abandoned propane and other drums containing unknown contents should <br /> be removed and disposed of at approved sites. <br /> No spillage or ground discoloration were noticed at any of the overhead fuel <br /> dispensing tanks. <br /> Also the visual above ground property search did not reveal any vent pipes, <br /> excavated areas or other evidences of below ground contaminant sources. No excavations <br /> were made as a part of the property search, however. <br /> Possible Septic Contamination: Existing San Joaquin County records of septic system <br /> permits in the immediate area of the subject property as well as the area in the immediate <br /> vicinity of the subject property, were reviewed. A total of ten(10) septic permits were <br /> reviewed and one(1) of them was for the subject property. <br /> The subject property's permit involved the installation of three (3) leach lines <br /> each forty (40)feet long for a total of one hundred twenty(120)feet with a thirty-three <br /> (33)inch diameter and twenty-five(25) feet deep pit at the end of each line pit that were <br /> constructed in clay soil. Eight(S)of the permits involved constructing from two(2)to <br /> three(3) leach lines, varying from forty(40)feet to one-hundred(100)feet in length with <br /> pits at their ends. The pits varied from thirty-three(33)inches to thirty-six(36) inches in <br /> diameter and all were twenty-five (25)feet deep. All three (3)of the remaining permits <br /> listed the soil as sandy loam. The remaining permit was for constructing four(4) leach <br /> lines,each forty(40) feet long for a total of one hundred sixty(160) feet with a <br /> 2'x12'x10' sumps at the ends of the lines. As noted above the septic system installed on <br /> the subject property was in clay soil.
