Surface and Subsurface Cont urination Report------ APN: 001-230-39------P�Kel Nos. 1 and Remainder <br /> Possible Chemical Use Contamination In Crop Production: The pesticides and <br /> herbicides used in managing and controlling insects and mites, nematodes and weeds in <br /> the production of grapes is contained in"Appendix IP', entitled"Chemical Products Used <br /> In Grape Production" which is attached to and made an integral part of this report. <br /> More specific information regarding recommended application rates of the <br /> pesticides and herbicides that are used in producing apples and walnuts can be provided <br /> upon request if it is needed and required. <br /> San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioners Report: The San Joaquin County <br /> Agricultural Commissioner's Office was requested to access their files and report on any <br /> recorded permit applications and product applications by the Stokes' family over the last <br /> five (5)years in Sections 3 and 10, Township 4 North,Range 5 East,Mount Diablo Base <br /> and Meridian. <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office report covered <br /> applications for the subject property site as well as ten(10)other farm site locations <br /> involving the Stokes Farms. Their report involved the right to purchase and use pesticides <br /> and herbicides in the 1996, 1997 and 2000 years. The rights to purchase and use six(6) <br /> chemical products were contained in their report but not specifically cited as to which of <br /> the eleven (11)listed locations the chemical products were to be placed on. <br /> All six(6) of the chemical products and the pests they would control on the <br /> eleven-listed farming locations are listed as follows: <br /> DATES PRODUCT PESTS FORM METHOD <br /> 01/01/96,01/01/97, 01/04/2000 Carbaryl Liquid Ground <br /> 01/01/96, 01/01/97, 01/04/2000 Furadan Nematode Liquid Ground <br /> 01/01/96,01/01/97,01/04/2000 Endosulfan Larvae Liquid Ground <br /> 01/01/96, 01/01/97,01/04/2000 Phostoxin Rodents Fumigant Fumigate <br /> 01/01/96, 01/01/97 2,4-D Amine Weeds Liquid Ground <br /> 01/01/96, 01/01/97,01/04/2000 Paraquat Weeds Liquid Ground <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's 5-Year report also <br /> contained State of California-Environmental Protection Agency,Department of Pesticide <br /> Regulation product use reports on the subject property for the 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000 <br /> years.
