On the date of the
search pesticides, herbicides, chemicals and fertilizers were properly stored and locked.
No fuel dispensing tanks were noted.
Also the visual above ground property search did not reveal any vent pipes,
excavated areas or other evidences of below ground contaminant sources. No excavations
were made as a part of the property search, however.
Possible Septic Contamination: Existing San Joaquin County records of septic system
permits in the immediate area of the subject property as well as the area in the immediate
vicinity of the subject property, were reviewed. A total of four(4)septic permits were
reviewed and one (1) of them was for the subject property. One of the remaining three(3)
permits reviewed involved the subject property's present owners but was at a separate
location from the subject property.
The subject property's permit involved the installation of two (2) leach lines each
fifty(50) feet long for a total of one hundred(100) feet and were constructed in sandy
loam soil. The remaining three (3)permits involved constructing from two (2)to twelve
(12) leach lines, varying from fifty(50)feet to eighty-five(85) feet in length. All three
(3) of the remaining permits listed the soil as sandy loam.
No permits were noted for repairing any of the facilities subsequent to their
installation. From the historical septic records there is no indication of septic
contamination.
Possible Nitrate Pollution: No animals were seen on the subject property so there does
not appear to be any undue nitrate concentrations because of an overpopulation of
animals.
Thnm T k Sandra M Stnke% 7;R1 Wect TCvio Rnad T Mi('A 9;947 Phnne- (909)794—9 51 S i
