The remaining undeveloped portion of the 49 acres is
devoted to the agricultural pursuit of growing grapes .
TEST RESULTS :
Parcel No . See the attached Detail "A"
Map and "Field Percolation Data Sheet" , as well as the text of this
report , for specific soil layer character and location details . No
ground water was encountered in excavating the Soil Profile Test
Hole on July 9 , 1998 .
WELL WATER ANALYSIS : See the attached three (3) Far West
Laboratories Inc . well water analysis letters , all dated July 15 ,
1998 , as well as , the text of this study report regarding Nitrate
and DBCP well water concentrations .
RECOMMENDATIONS : Due to the large variations in the water level
drops experienced in the thirty (30) minute periods during the
total four (4) hour percolation test periods as well as the needed
careful selection of six (6) test holes to test formally, the
minimum water level drop of 1/2" recorded in a 30 minute period
during the total test period is recommended for use in the design
of a septic system. A 12 , 000 square feet minimum disposal area is
recommended for Parcel Nos . 1 , 2 , & 3 to accommodate a subsurface
horizontal leach field. The use of a seepage pit design is
acceptable in lieu of a leach field solely design.
