Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> C.E. # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone : (209) 368-4159 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study on the Ike Rai property performed <br /> at the request of Mr . Ike Rai , MS-98-18 , to divide 49 acres into <br /> two ( 2) equal parcels , Parcel No . 1 and Parcel No. 2 , and create a <br /> two ( 2) acre parcel homesite out of Parcel No . 1 , Parcel No. 3 , for <br /> financial purposes . The present 49 acres development consists of a <br /> house, two mobile homes , two barns , a garage , three wells , two <br /> septic systems , green houses and a new homesite under construction. <br /> The remaining undeveloped portion of the 49 acres is devoted to the <br /> agricultural pursuit of growing grapes . A house is under <br /> construction on Parcel No . 3 with the foundation, framework , ground <br /> level and second story flooring and a portion of the roof completed <br /> to date . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> the percolation tests conducted on the Ike Rai property located at <br /> 3500 West Kingdon Road, California and shown on the attached <br /> "Tentative Parcel Map" and "Property Map" . <br /> Existing Use : <br /> The tested Parcel Nos . 1 , 2 , & 3 , involving forty-nine (49) <br /> acres , presently have a house , two mobile homes , two barns , a <br /> garage , three wells , two septic systems and a new homesite under <br /> construction. The undeveloped portion of the 49 acres is presently <br /> devoted to the agricultural pursuit of growing grapes . The relative <br /> locations and positions of all the improvements on the 49 acres are <br /> shown on the attached "Tentative Parcel Map" and "Property Map" . <br /> Soil Profile Test : <br /> A Soil Profile Test Hole was dug to a maximum depth of 10 ' 00" <br /> for soil profile reporting . See the attached Detail "A" Map and <br /> "Field Percolation Data Sheet" , as well as the text of this report , <br /> for specific soil layer character and location details .
