September 30, 2007 <br /> NOA Project Number: E07141A <br /> 3.0 EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> 3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage <br /> The EHD septic permits were searched on August 30 n <br /> o permits were and for the address <br /> of 31199 South Koster Road. <br /> _ 3.2 On-Site Septic Permit History <br /> No septic permits wer found during file review at EHD on August 30, 2007 for the address of <br /> 9-Sotzthos er Road in Tracy, California. <br /> 3.3 On-Site Septic Repair Permit History <br /> optic repair permits ere found for the site during file review at EHD on August 30, 2007.,/- <br /> 3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity <br /> In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed a <br /> recent aerial photo of the subject property available from GoogleEarthTM. We counted the building <br /> clusters within one square mile of the site, and made.the assumption that each s-ter h� <br /> one septic-system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minim m of 25 septic systems <br /> per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the site. <br /> The general use of the vicinity fs farmland. ere are some residences in the area. <br /> 3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> The septic permits in the vicinity appear to be for the installation of leach lines. <br /> 3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> The septic repair permits in the vicinity appear to be for the addition of leach lines. <br /> 3.7 Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage <br /> The expected on-site maximum septic tank usage for each residential parcel would be for a single <br /> family residence and a secondary dwelling unit. The on-site usage for the commercial parcel is <br /> unknown. If there is to be any construction, septic system design should be based on the On-Site <br /> Wastewater Disposal Standards or other engineering recommendations. <br /> 3 <br />
