The practice of using a fuel transport tank for an aboveground storage tank <br /> attached to permanent fuel dispensers is questionable. <br /> 9. 55-gallon drums of waste oil, new oil, and empties were intermingled in storage at the <br /> entrance of the Empty Pesticide Container Storage Area. Materials should be segregated, <br /> and the waste oil must be properly labeled. <br /> 10. Numerous empty 55-gallon pesticide drums were stored in container storage. These <br /> drums had been accumulated over a number of years. In conversations with the San <br /> Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office, there are guidelines for the disposal <br /> of such containers. I would recommend researching crushing the containers and <br /> submitting to scrap. <br /> 11 . A referral has been made to the County Environmental Health Department. <br /> Corrections and recommendations must be completed and/or investigated by August 5, 1994. <br /> Please contact this office in writing listing completion dates for the corrective actions.
