Response to Navarra Ranch Letter <br /> ■ Groundwater Usage: At the maximum processing rate of <br /> 4 million tpy, the Project would utilize approximately 320 <br /> acre-feet per year (afy) of groundwater as make up <br /> water in addition to the 75-80% of water that will be <br /> recycled onsite. This usage rate is below the pre-project <br /> average annual agricultural use of 570 afy. (Draft EIR, p. <br /> 4. 8-27. ) <br /> • Haul Route 3: The use of Haul Route 3 will be temporary <br /> and limited during the construction of the SR 132/Bird <br /> Road interchange, after which , the Project will use Haul <br /> Route 1 . <br /> • Electric Resources: Cemex is working with PG&E on <br /> system upgrades to supply electricity to the site. These <br /> upgrades will be paid for by Cemex, and Cemex will <br /> work with PG&E to ensure that reliable service is <br /> available onsite. <br />
