Archaeological Survey A pedestrian survey of the three alternatives (Figure 1) was conducted on Wednesday March 5 and Thursday March 6, 1997 by Hannah Ballard and Steve Moore of Pacific Legacy's Berkeley office. Surface inspection of the quarry operation location was completed by two surveyors walking line-a-breast transects at 10 to 20m spacing following the orchard rows and along access roads.
