g. Verification shall be obtained from the Solid Waste Division (468-3066)that this development has <br /> met the requirements of the Waste Pian Format for Development Projects. The Final Site Plan is <br /> required upon submittal of verification. <br /> h. Any development or significant redevelopment project outside of a County NDPES permit area that <br /> disturbs one or more acres of land or that is part of a larger plan of common development shall file a <br /> Notice of Intent with the State Water Resources Control Board to state the intent to comply with the <br /> State General Permit for Storm Water Discharges Associated With Construction Activity. <br /> i. The developer shall provide drainage facilities and meet the requirements of San Joaquin County <br /> Developmen't Standards to prevent the increased runoff release rate of storm water from <br /> discharging onto other properties. Retention ponds shall be fenced with a six-foot-high chain-link <br /> fence or equal when the maximum design depth is 18 inches or more. Required retention basin <br /> capacity shall be calculated by a registered civil engineer, licensed contractor, or an architect prior <br /> to the release of building permits. (Development Title Section 9-1135.9) <br /> 3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT(Staff Contact.- Ted Tasiopoulos, 953-7698) <br /> a. A soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff and customer use shall be <br /> submitted to Environmental Health to indicate that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The <br /> studies must be approved by Environmental Health prior to issuance of building permits <br /> (Development Title Section 9-11052[d]). A review fee of$525.00 must be paid at the time of <br /> submittal to Environmental Health. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank <br /> practice or the EPA Design Manual for on-site waste water treatment and disposal system is <br /> required for each parcel. A permit fee of$105.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. The existing:private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DSCP) and <br /> nitrates with the results submitted to Environmental Health prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> Samples are'to be taken and analyzed by a State approved laboratory. (Development Title Section <br /> 9-1115.7) <br /> a <br /> c. Construction;of an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by <br /> Environmental Health is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br /> Loading Study findings. (Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4) <br /> d. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and discharged to an <br /> above-ground system approved by Environmental Health. A registered engineer must design this <br /> system. The material collected in the above-ground holding system must be analyzed for <br /> hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test requirements may be obtained from <br /> Environmental Health. A$210.00 plan check fee is required at the time of submittal, i <br /> e. If hazardous material is stored on the site, the applicant must register with the San Joaquin County <br /> Office of Emergency Services. <br /> f.
