The following facilities were identified within the search
radius:
• Charles R. Alcock, 5871 W. Linne Road. This facility has been discussed
above.
• Verizon Wireless Tracy, 29495 S. Bird Road. Five wells were
identified at addresses within approximately one mile of the subject Site. None of
the wells had been tested for DBCP. All the wells had been tested for nitrate; it
was detected in all of the wells at concentrations of 20 to 135 mg/L-NO3. The
Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45
mg/L. The MCL for DBCP is 0.2 µg/L.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted
regarding agricultural use of the site.
