Revised April 24, 2001 <br /> San Joaquin County Local Health District <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject: Soil Suitability Study: (APN-253-330-12) (UP-00-17) <br /> Submitted for your review are the results of a Soil Suitability Study for the <br /> Property located at 29181 S. Lehman Road, Tracy, CA <br /> Project Description: The partnership of Thomas A. Schubert and Herve Chevaillier plan <br /> to convert part of an existing metal barn into a 1,400 sq. ft winery to <br /> include wine tasting. The winery will produce 500 cases of wine per <br /> year (approx. 1,189 gallons). Juice will be delivered to the winery <br /> for fermentation in approximately one to three truck loads per <br /> season. Crushing will be incorporated into the operation at a later <br /> date; however,production volumes will remain the same. <br /> Approximately one year after the winery is established and a <br /> product is produced,the winery will open for public tastings on <br /> Saturdays and Sundays. Tasting will take place in the 1,400 sq. ft <br /> winery utilizing portable tables. <br /> Existing Septic Systems: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County records were reviewed for the area in the <br /> immediate vicinity of the subject property.
