Of the chemicals used on the subject property, <br /> only Gamoxone Extra,which contains Paraquat,is a Restricted Use Pesticide. <br /> I` <br /> Paraquat is highly toxic when ingested,it is highly persistent in the soil environment,with reported <br /> field half-lives of greater than 1000 days. Ultraviolet light, sunlight,and soil microorganisms can <br /> 6 degrade paraquat to products which are less toxic. <br /> L3.1.9 Water Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> The EHD well an effort to obtain <br /> copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. One permit, dated <br /> April 9, 2001,was found for the subject property address of 17667 East Liberty Road. This pertnit <br /> was for the installation of a new irrigation/agricultural well. A copy of this permit can be found in <br /> Appendix F. <br /> In his response to the environmental questionnaire, Mr. Keith Watts indicated that there is no <br /> sewage disposal system on the property (Appendix E). <br /> L <br /> //3.1.6 DepardnentofOil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)Wildcat Map #611 <br /> and W6-1 were reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. <br /> LNo wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 1-'3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance <br /> LA visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on November 10,2004. <br /> Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/ <br /> h assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> L <br /> The subject property was observed to be rolling hills. About a third of the property was used as a <br /> vineyard. The remaining property was bare grassland. The vineyards look healthy and well kept, the <br /> grassland does not look stressed in any way. There are no trees on the subject property. <br /> Two creeks run through the subject property.
