November 18, 2004 NOA Project Number: E04130A /.4 Interviews An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property Lfrom the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was sent to Mr.Keith Watts,the current owner of the property and site manager. A copy of the questionnaire is included in Appendix E of this report. I Mr.Watts has owned the property for five years. His responses to the questionnaire do not suggest any environmental concerns for the subject property. LMr.Watts was interviewed on November 17,2004 about the subject property. He confirmed that the chemical use reports he provided were only for the vineyards on the property and not the rest of the Lproperty. He also said that when chemicals are used on the vineyards, they are mixed near the pole barn. In his responses questionnaire,he indicated that he has had no chemical spills on his property. v, 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION L3.1 Research Methods NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the flocation of the subject property,a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, Ir and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address p ranges. iL•. /� 3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board Our office reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST)list Only 2004), the Water Purveyors Quarterly Dort on MTBE Quly 2004), and the Spills,Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups(SLIC)list (April 2004)on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile radius f of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases,and no addresses within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on October 28, 2004.
