CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br /> SA-91-34 <br /> Ken Silveira <br /> Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval shall be complied with prior to the issuance <br /> of any Building Permits. <br /> This approval will expire 18 months from the date of approval unless (1) all Conditions of Approval <br /> have been complied with, (2) all necessary building permits have been secured and remain in force, <br /> and (3) all necessary permits from other agencies have been secured and remain in force. <br /> 1. DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIVISION: <br /> a. The kennel shall be approved for a maximum of 25 dogs, and it shall not be a public <br /> boarding kennel. <br /> b. The offspring of the dogs are allowed and shall not be counted until they are four months <br /> of age (Section 9-3234(e][11). <br /> C. No customers shall come to the site. <br /> d. A solid six-foot-high fence shall be maintained along the northern and eastern sides of <br /> the kennel area, and a six-foot-high chain-link fence is required along the southern and <br /> western sides of the kennel, as shown on the site plan. <br /> e. Except for movement on and off the property, animals shall not be kept or maintained in <br /> coops, pens, corrals less than one-half acre, or in barns or similar structure closer than <br /> 40 feet from any rear or side property line (Section 9-3234[d]). <br /> f. All animal enclosures, including but not limited to pens, cages, and feed areas, shall be <br /> maintained free from litter, garbage, and the excessive accumulation of manure in order <br /> to discourage the proliferation of flies, other disease vectors, and offensive odors. The <br /> premises are to be maintained in a neat and sanitary manner (Section 9-3234[e][2]). <br /> g. No advertising signs shall be permitted. <br /> h. The kennel operation shall not cause noise greater than 65 db Ldn at the property lines. <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: <br /> Ordinance Requirements: <br /> The Ordinance Requirements listed below have been identified as pertinent to this project. Other <br /> Ordinance Requirements may also apply. Ordinance Requirements cannot be modified. <br /> a. An Improvement Plan showing drainage,driveway access details,on-site parking, existing <br /> and proposed utility services, and grading shall be submitted to the Department of Public <br /> Works for approval. <br /> Conditions of Approval 1 - (SA-91-34) <br />
