Ran 25 joints (1022.83' O.A. incl.shoe) 8-5/8" 24# K-55 8 rd. <br /> thd. new Armco seamless casing and cemented at 1020' with 400 sacks class "G" cement <br /> premixed with 4% gel, followed by 100 sacks class "Gel cement treated with 3% calcium <br /> chloride. Used one top rubber plug and displaced with 365 cf water. Add full cir- <br /> culation throughout with an estimated 120 of cement returns. F.I. P. 8:15 a.m. 9/4/70. <br /> Halliburton. Casing equipped with Baker guide shoe and one Baker centralizer latched <br /> over first collar. Baker lok'd shoe and first collar. <br /> TOTCO SURVEY: 1020' 0015'. <br /> 9/4/70 Cut off conductor and casing and installed 8" series 900 casing flange. Tested welds <br /> to 3000 psi, okay. Set in double hydraulic Shaffer gate and Hydril "GK" - Hooked up <br /> lines and flanged up cellar connections. Tested blind rams to 1500 psi, okay. <br /> Picked up 7-7/8" drilling assembly and found top of cement at 984'. Tested pipe rams, <br /> Hydril and kelly cock to 1500 psi, okay. Drilled out cement and shoe and drilled <br /> 9/5/70 7-7/8" hole to 2686'. Mud: 72#; 41 secs; 9. 7 cc; 3/32"; 9. 5 pH; 2% sand. <br /> 9/5/70 Drilled 7-7/8" hole to 3942'. Mud: 72-1/2#; 44 secs; 7.2 cc; 2/32"; 10. 2 pH; <br /> 1% sand. <br /> 9/6/70 Conditioned mud for test. Made three short trips through tight hole. Conditioned <br /> mud and raised weight to 75 #/of for test. Ran Johnston MFE tool on 12 5-3/4" drill- <br /> collars, on 57 stands 4" 14.00# drillpipe and set dual bobtail packers at 3924' and <br /> 3930' with perforated anchor to 3942'. Opened 1/2" BHC at 8:24 p.m. and took 3 <br /> minute preflow. Had moderately strong blow of air during preflow. Closed tool and <br /> took 26 minute initial shut-in pressure. Opened for flow test at 8;53 p.m. on 5/16" <br /> surface choke. Had gas at no measurable rate. Reduced surface choke to 1/4" at <br /> 9:00 p.m. Had clean gas at 190 MCF/D rate with 120 psi on 1/4" surface choke <br /> increasing slowly to a 450 MCF/D rate at 9:20 p.m. when rat-hole mud surfaced. Had <br /> rat-hole mud then mud and water. Turned to sump at 9:35 p.m. Had gas with 175 <br /> G/G salt water and sand. Shut in at 9:40 p.m. with surface choke plugging. Closed <br /> tool and pulled loose. Bled off surface pressure and pulled tools. Recovered 1380' <br /> rise; top 1200' salt water (testing 334 G/G) , bottom 180/ fine grey sand. Pressure <br />
