Wiped hole for casing: Ran 24 joints 8-5/8" 24# K-55 new Armco ST&C 8 rd thd. seamless casing and cemented at 996' with 350 sacks class "G" cement premixed with 4% gel followed by 100 sacks class "G" cement treated with 3% calcium chloride. Used one top rubber plug and displaced to 956' with 347 of water. Had full circulation throughout with 200 cf cement returns to surface. C.I.P. 4:06 P.M. 11/18/70, B.J. Service. Casing equipped with Baker guide shoe and 1 centralizer latched over first collar. Bakerlok'd shoe and first collar. Cut off conductor and installed 8" series 900 casing flange. Tested welds to 3000 psi, okay. Totco Survey: 996' 0015' . 11/19/70 Installed BOPS. Tested blind rams to 1500 psi, okay. Ran in with 7-7/8" drilling assembly and found T.O.C. 926' . Tested casing, pipe rams and kelly cock to 1500 psi, okay. Drilled out cement and shoe and drilled 7-7/8" hole to 1331' . Lost and recovered drillcollars at 1331' . 11/20/70 Drilled 7-7/8" hole to 2901' . Sidetracked junk at 1331' . 11/21/70 Drilled 7-7/8" hole to 3942' . Conditioned mud for drillstem test #1 . Mud: 74#/cf; 43 secs.; 6.0 cc; 3% sand. Totco Survey: 3078' 0 30' . i 11/22/70 DST #1 (3918'-3942'): Ran Johnston MFE tool on 4 stands 5-3/4" D.C. on 4" D.P. , +JII dry. Set packers at 3912' & 3918' with perforated anchor to 3942' . Opened 1/2" BHC 8:12 A.M. 11/22/70 and took 5 minute preflow. Had light blow of air through- out. Took 31 minute initial shut-in pressure and opened for flow test on 5/16" choke nipple at 8:48 A.M. Had light blow of air with GTS 7 minutes . Reduced choke size to 3/16" at 9:01 A.M. Had gas at a maximum and final rate of 130 MCFD with 153 psi on 3/16" surface choke at the end of the 1 hr. 15 min. flow period. Took 20 minute FSIP and pulled tools . Recovered 4' rise thick drilling mud. Pressure bomb charts showed mild intermittent plugging throughout flow period.
