INTRODUCTION <br /> This study was prepared to satisfy the requirements of the <br /> Conditions of Approval for Minor Subdivision MS-91-24. <br /> PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> It is proposed to split off 1 . 5 acres that the residence is <br /> located on , leaving a remainder of 56. 3± acres. The <br /> remaining 56.3 acres is a potential building site . <br /> PRESENT AND PAST USE OF SITE <br /> The site has just been replanted with grapes with an <br /> automatic drip irrigation system. The majority of the <br /> surrounding area is planted in grapes. <br /> . EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USE <br /> The present septic system has been in use for approximately <br /> 35 years and the owners reported there were no problems <br /> with the existing system. There is another existing old <br /> septic system that has been abandoned that served an old <br /> house which burned down many years ago. This old system <br /> will have to be opened , pumped and backfilled under permit <br /> if it is within 50 feet of the domestic well . <br /> Neighbors were also interviewed concerning their septic <br /> system with the results as follows: <br /> 1 . Owner : L. W. Jenner <br /> 14009 North Locust Tree Road <br /> Location : Across the road , Northwest of site <br /> Septic : System is twenty years old , no problems <br /> reported . <br /> 4 . Owner : Robert Wade <br /> 13987 North Locust Tree Road <br /> Location : Across the road from site <br /> Septic : New system rine years old , no problems <br /> reported . <br />
