The methodology used and <br /> limiting conditions are described. Includes a summary of interview questions I <br /> derived from the site reconnaissance for contacts for the dairy and orchard <br /> operations. <br /> • Chapter 4, Limited Groundwater Sampling and Analysis, details <br /> Kleinfelder's groundwater sampling activities and discusses the results of the <br /> laboratory analysis conducted on the samples. <br /> • Chapter 5, Evaluation, is a presentation of our findings and opinions <br /> regarding the information and data generated in Chapters 2 through 4; and ell, <br /> presents our conclusion regarding the presence of recognized environmental <br /> conditions connected with the site. <br /> • Chapter 6, References, is a summary list of the resources used to compile <br /> this report. <br /> • Pertinent documentation regarding the subject site is included in Appendices <br /> of this report. <br /> 1.3. ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> An evaluation of business environmental risk associated with the parcel(s) was not <br /> included in Kleinfelder's scope of work. The ASTM Phase I ESA scope does not <br /> incorporate non-scope considerations, such as (but not limited to) asbestos-containing <br /> materials, radon, lead-based paint, lead in drinking water, wetlands, regulatory <br /> compliance, cultural and historic resources, industrial hygiene, health and safety, <br /> ecological resources, endangered species, indoor air quality, and high voltage power <br /> lines. <br /> 1.4. SIGNIFICANT ASSUMPTIONS <br /> w The subject property is hereafter referred to as the "site. <br /> I.S. LIMITATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS <br /> Phase I ESAs and ESA updates are non-comprehensive by nature and are unlikely to <br /> identify all environmental problems or eliminate all risk. This report is a qualitative <br /> assessment. Kleinfelder offers a range of investigative and engineering services to suit <br /> the needs of our clients, including more quantitative investigations. Although risk can <br /> never be eliminated, more detailed and extensive investigations yield more information, <br /> which may help you understand and better manage your risks. Since such detailed <br /> services involve greater expense, we ask our clients to participate in identifying the level <br /> of service, which will provide them with an acceptable level of risk.
