kn KLEINFELDER <br /> _ San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (SJCOES) was contacted <br /> on April 4, 2006 for information regarding incidents with hazardous materials <br /> and/or petroleum products on the site or in the vicinity of the site. According to <br /> Michelle Halliway with SJCOES there were no incident reports for the subject <br /> site. <br /> • Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) was contacted on April 4, <br /> 2006 for information regarding hazardous materials and petroleum product <br /> incidents at the site. According to a letter received from Ms. Marilou P. Manuel, <br /> no such records exist for the subject site. <br /> • California State Fire Marshal Pipeline Safety Office (CSFMPSO) was <br /> contacted on April 4, 2006 regarding pipelines within the area of the subject site. <br /> According to an e-mail received from Lisa Dowdy, there are no pipelines under <br /> CSFMPSO jurisdiction on or in the vicinity of the site. <br /> • State Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB) was contacted April 4, 2006 <br /> for information regarding HIST UST permits. At the time of report preparation <br /> Kleinfelder had not received information from this source. If information is <br /> obtained at a later date that changes the findings of this report, the client will be <br /> notified and an addendum to the report will be issued. <br /> • San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioners (SJCAC) office was <br /> contacted April 12, 2006 for information regarding pesticide use for the site. <br /> Kleinfelder received information from the SJCAC on April 28, 2006 for <br /> information regarding pesticide use permits for Larry Woltjer and Fred Veenstra. <br /> According to a restricted materials permit, dated 2006, 2, 4-D Amine, MCPA, <br /> Dimethylamine, 2,4-DB, Simazine, Dicamba and Paraquat was applied <br /> seasonally to the subject site to control the growth of weeds. Strychnine was <br /> used to control gophers onsite. Carbaryl and Supracide were applied to control <br /> Larvae. Chloropicrin and Furadan was used to control nematodes and Aluminum <br /> Phosphide were used to control rodents. Methyl Bromide was used to control soil <br /> pests and Guthion was used to control mites. According to the permits, almonds, <br /> corn and oats were grown on the subject site. A copy of the permits is included in <br /> Appendix D of this report. <br /> • State of California, Department of Conservation, Division of Oil and Gas <br /> (DOG) webpage was accessed, ftp://ftp.consrv.ca.gov/pub/oil/maps/dist5/W5- <br /> 3/MapW5-3.pdf to confirm no oil and/or gas wells are associated with the subject <br /> site or adjacent properties. <br /> 67453.P01/ST06R715/RB:Iv Page 11 of 37 <br /> ©2006 Kleinfelder, Inc.
