kn KLEINFELDER <br /> According to Mr. Dotinga the creek is dammed and this water is used during the <br /> summer. Mr. Dotinga stated the culverts drain water to the creek from the <br /> agricultural land. <br /> A dairy is located on the eastern portion of APN 205-100-16. A majority of the <br /> dairy area consists of corrals and dairy barns. <br /> Seven residential structures are located in the western portion of APN 205-100- <br /> 16. The residences contain garages and sheds. Three barns, two larger sheds <br /> and various smaller structures are located in the southwestern portion of APN <br /> 205-100-16. The barns contained tractors, cattle feed, almond husks, tire piles, <br /> and household items. <br /> A pool of discolored water with an oil sheen is located north of the southwest <br /> barn in the southwestern portion of the site. According to Mr. Dotinga the <br /> discoloration and sheen is due to liquid from cattle feed and almond husks. <br /> Two silos were formerly located east of the central barn in the southwestern <br /> portion of the site. <br /> A small pond of water is located south of the feed pile in the southwest portion of <br /> the site. <br /> • Three large ponds are located in the south center of the site. The ponds are <br /> approximately 1300 feet long and 125 feet wide each. According to Mr. Dotinga, <br /> the ponds are approximately 30 feet deep. According to Mr. Dotinga, the <br /> ., southern most pond was installed in 1989 and the northern two ponds are <br /> approximately 2-3 years old. <br /> A large soil pile is located on the west end between the two northern ponds. <br /> According to Mr. Dotinga, the soil is from excavation of the ponds. <br /> 8.1.3. Off-Site Findings <br /> Smith Ranch, located at 15751 S. Van Allen Road, adjacent to the east of the <br /> southern portion of the site, appears on the Hazardous Substance Storage <br /> Container database. <br /> • Vanderschaaf Ranch, listed at the same address as Smith Ranch, appears on <br /> the SWEEPS UST database. <br /> Harry D. Vieira, located at 15312 S. Van Allen Rd., adjacent to the east of the <br /> site, appears on the HIST UST database. <br /> Franzia.
