E05022A L 5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Given the historical uses of agricultural chemicals and petroleum products on the subject property, L meaningful conclusions regarding the presence or extent of such material cannot be determined without soil sampling and analysis. If domestic wells are to be developed on the subject property, the EHD should be contacted for direction regarding the potential for impacts to groundwater from the agricultural history of the property and viciruty. L As the site is developed,any stained soil or sources of contamination identified,such as those described in Section 3.3, should be characterized and properly disposed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. V 6.0 LIMITATIONS L This report was compiled as a Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property. This report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way L warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources. ! It should be noted that when an environmental assessment is completed without sample collection and 1� quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site,as in this study,no statement of scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be the result of on-site or off- site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not scientific certainties, but rather, probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of the data gathered during the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site or adjoining land contains L no hazardous waste,oil,underground storage tanks,or other latent condition beyond that detected or observed by NOA during the Surface and Subsurface assessment. The possibility always exists for contaminants to migrate through surface water, air, or groundwater. vOur office has not been provided with specific criteria for the development of this report other than a request to evaluate the property in question for possible problems related to toxic or hazardous agents, nor have we been directed to address any specific questions concerning the site. Should there be a need L to conduct an investigation into a specific question not addressed in this report, contact our office immediately regarding your concerns. L The ground surface was wet from recent rains at the time of the site visit; consequently, soil staining present on the property may not have been detectable. i_ 10 4
