` March 28,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E0502ZA <br /> 2.2 Aerial Photographs <br /> L <br /> Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed <br /> at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California'. Two additional photos, dated <br /> lr 1993 and 2002,were obtained from Microsoft Terraserver'. <br /> In the 1937 photo,the subject property appears to be part of a larger rice field. Two irrigation canals <br /> it are apparent crossing the property. Lone Tree Road and Henry Road can be seen. Surrounding land <br /> is agricultural on all sides,with a few scattered building clusters to the north. <br /> L In the 1952 photo,the subject property appears relatively unchanged from the previous photo. A few <br /> structures are now apparent on the adjacent parcel to the north. <br /> L In the 1963 photo,more structures have been built to the north,and new residential sites are apparent <br /> to the southwest. <br /> I <br /> it In the 1975 and 1983 photos, the subject property and its immediate vicinity remain relatively <br /> unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> L In the 1993 photo,the northeast comer of the subject property does not appear to have been farmed <br /> A new residence is apparent to the east. <br /> L In the 2002 photo, the northeast comer of the subject property is an equipment pad for the adjacent <br /> farming operation to the north. Several new residences and building sites are apparent to the west of <br /> the subject property. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> L <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> L The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, Escalon, <br /> California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1991 was available through Microsoft <br /> Terraserver. <br /> In the 1991 map, the subject property is depicted as crop land crossed by two irrigation canals. The <br /> property is depicted as relatively flat land located at approximately 140 feet above mean sea level. Two <br /> V structures are indicated to the immediate north. The vicinity of the property is depicted as crop land <br /> with scattered residences.
