L <br /> LMarch 31, 2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05039A <br /> I IL9 Site Reconnaissance <br /> L <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on March 24,2005. Photographs of the <br /> ` subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is attached <br /> L• to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property consists of rural residential,grazing land, and a rice field. On Assessor's Parcel <br /> L Number 229-150-001 is a rice field.On Assessor's Parcel Number 229-150-003 there is one residential <br /> home, a garage, tractor storage area,metal storage building,and shed. The remainder of the parcel is <br /> cattle grazing land. One water well and one septic tank that serves the house are located on the subject <br /> property. The water well and pump are located within a shed on the south side of the house, and the <br /> septic system is located to the west of the house. An electric heat pump is used as the heating source <br /> for the house. There is evidence of a former underground fuel storage tank on the property. Piping <br /> was observed from the garage where the tank used to be located and was piped into the garage to a <br /> gasoline pump. These items were removed from the property around 1980.The garage is now used for <br /> the storage of a boa tools and household items. The metal storage building on the property is used <br /> L to store furniture No soilstamin hazardous materials, or stressed vegetation were observed on the <br /> subject property at 1111time o e site reconnaissance. <br /> NOT SD <br /> One pole-mounted transformer owned by PG&E was observed on the east side of the subject property <br /> near the house. No leakage from the transformer or soil staining beneath the transformer was observed. <br /> LSurrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of a portion <br /> of the subject property is a small parcel that contains residential homes and outbuildings. To the north <br /> Lof the remainder of the property is Lone Tree Road, across which are rural residences. To the south <br /> of the property is grazing land and a Waal residence and barn. To the east is grazing land and a rural <br /> residence. To the west are rural residential homes,bam and agricultural land.
