Where a concrete curb around a planter in a parking lot functions as a wheel <br /> stop,the required length of a parking space abutting such a curb may be reduced by a maximum <br /> of two(2)feet, provided that the planter is at least five(5)feet wide. (DevelopmentTitle Section <br /> 9-1015.5[b]) <br /> (4) Compact parking spaces shall be a minimum seven and one-half(71/2)feet wide and sixteen(16) <br /> feet long, be individually designated as a compact space,and make up no more than twenty-five <br /> (25%)of the required spaces. (Developmenttitle Section 9-1015.5[c]) <br /> (5) All parking stalls and directional arrows must be delineated with paint. ACCESS AND CIRCULATION: The following requirements apply and shall be shown on the Site <br /> Plan: <br /> (1) Access driveways shall have a width of no less than twenty-five(25)feet for two-way aisles and <br /> sixteen(16)feet for one-way aisles. (DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1015.5[h]) <br /> g. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed <br /> according to the standards set forth in Section 9-1015.5 of the DevelopmentTitle. <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the <br /> property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares,provided, however,that such <br /> light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. (DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> h. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All areas not used for buildings,parking,driveways,walkways,approved outdoor storage areas, <br /> or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. At a minimum, a ten (10) foot wide planting <br /> strip is required along adjacent streets. The strip shall be continuous except where crossed by <br /> driveways and walkways. (DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1020.7) <br /> (2) All areas requiring landscaping shall conform to Section 9-1020 of the Development Title. The <br /> parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent (5%) of landscaping within the <br /> perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage. Twenty-six <br /> (26) trees shall be planted and evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1020.5) <br /> Note: The number of trees required in the parking lot is directly related to the number of required <br /> parking spaces and may be subject to change to reflectthe future uses of the buildings. <br /> i. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> Conditions of Approval -2 - SA-00-15 <br />
