1 A %boo. IV a) The proposed project will increase the diversity of plant species through a wildlife habitat development and restoration program. Emphasis will be placed on native plant species. Strange Aquatic Resources has been hired to initiate and oversee the program. By increasing the diversity and canopy structure of the plant communities, wildlife values will increase on the property. The proposed project should increase the diversity and numbers of wildlife species which use the property. IV c) Although the use of native species presently located on the property will be emphasized, both endemic and non- native plants will be used to develop wildlife habitats of the greatest values. The goal of the project is to use diverse plant species to develop habitats with increased plant species composition and canopy structure. when possible, plants will be selected which are indigenous to the Central Valley. V a) The proposed project will increase the diversity and composition of wildlife species which use the property by increasing the diversity and canopy structure of the plant communities. A rigorous plan has been developed to increase the quantity and quality of wildlife habitats on the property. Strange Aquatic Resources has been hired to develop and oversee the wildlife habitat program. Such a program will mitigate for the development of the ski/aquaculture lake and the proposed recreation center. upon completion of the program, the wildlife value of the property will be increased. VII a) Security lights will be used near buildings, parking lots, and boat storage areas to reduce the threat of vandalism. These lights will be used in conjunction with motion detectors to reduce concerns over detrimental light and glare. Lights are excellent areas to collect and study insects and also provide for increased use by insectivorous wildlife predators. X a) The proposed project will store boat fuel in an above ground facility. There is an associated risk of explosion or release of hazardous substances in the event of an accident. we are considering the use of alternative fuels which may reduce the threat of or risk of upset.
