% 4
XIII a) The proposed project will significantly increase the
vehicle traffic on Lorenzen road. Lorenzen road is a
rural, minimally developed, poorly maintained, county
road. The road is currently used mostly by agriculture
vehicles and employees of agriculture businesses. We
are willing to consider providing resources on a shared
basis to upgrade and improve the road to county
specifications such that it will sufficiently handle
the increase in traffic. The road improvements should
lessen specific concerns of the local residents. The
maximum number of people commuting to, using, and
leaving the property at any one tie should be less than
fifty. A maximum of thirty vehicles may be present at
any one time.
XIII b) The proposed project area lacks parking facilities at
this time. Parking facilities will be developed to
handle up to fifty passenger vehicles, ten recreational
vehicles, and fifteen boat trailers. If possible, we
will consider using traffic resistant grasses in the
parking areas to reduce the need for an artificial,
petro-chemical based parking surface.
XIII f) The proposed project may increase traffic hazards to
other motor vehicles on the surrounding roadways. The
increased numbers of slower moving vehicles towing ski
boats may increase the traffic hazards. These hazards
will be minimized if vehicle operators obey all traffic
laws.
XIV b) The proposed project will increase the numbers of
people using the property and may increase the demands
on the local public services. Although the proposed
project will be a private membership facility, it is
likely to have a minimal impact on police services.
Anti-theft devices and vandal-proof equipment will be
used for construction and development of the property
to reduce the needs and impact on police services.
XIV d) The proposed project will increase the numbers of
people using the property and may increase the demands
on the local public services. Although the proposed
project will be a private membership facility, it is
likely that members will use other local recreational
facilities on occasions. There may be an increase in
recreational demands such as camping, hunting, fishing,
and other water-based recreational needs.
