Phase One, building permits to be issued within eighteen months from the effective date of approval, includes the construction of a 1,800 square foot processing building and the conversion of an existing 720 square foot building into an office. Phase Two, building permits to be issued within five years from the effective date of approval, includes the construction of a 1,800 square foot processing building. The project has a General Plan designation of General Agriculture (AIG) and is zoned General Agriculture, 40 acre minimum lot size (AG-40). The Community Development Department has reviewed the application and offers the following comments: Background { There is an existing private packing shed on the subject parcel that is used to store the applicant's pumpkin and squash and is not a part of this project. Additionally, there are four farm labor mobile homes that are also not a part of this project.
