3 . Tubing and Packer Specifications [§146. 12 (c) (2) ] <br /> Injection may only take place through 2-7/8 inch tubing with a <br /> packer set within the long string casing at 100 feet above the <br /> injection zone (approximately 8200 feet) . The tubing and packer <br /> shall be maintained in a manner which is compatible with the in- <br /> jection operation specified in Part II, Section B, and to prevent <br /> the movement of fluids into or above underground sources of <br /> drinking water. The tubing and packer shall be corrosion- <br /> resistant and be of sufficient strength to resist wellbore pres- <br /> sures developed during the life of the well. <br /> 4 . Loos and Tests [§146. 12 (d) ] <br /> The appropriate logs and tests as specified in Part III, Section <br /> A, of this permit, shall be conducted during the drilling and <br /> construction of the well. A descriptive report interpreting the <br /> results of such logs and tests shall be prepared by a knowledge- <br /> able log analyst and submitted to the Director. <br /> 5. Construction Changes <br /> The permittee shall give advance notice to the Director, for <br /> review, of any planned changes in the construction of the per- <br /> mitted injection well. Unless approval is given by the Director, <br /> no significant deviations from the above construction plan will <br /> be authorized. <br /> B. OPERATION <br /> During the period beginning on the effective date of this permit <br /> and ending ten years from the effective date of this permit, the <br /> permittee is authorized to inject only non-hazardous process was- <br /> tewater generated by the onsite San Joaquin CoGen Limited <br /> Facility into the injection well under the following conditions: <br /> I. Injection Formation <br /> Injection shall be limited to the Lower Lathrop member of the <br /> Panoche Formation (McMullin Ranch nomenclature) as the Injection <br /> Formation. This interval occurs approximately between 8300 feet <br /> and 9600 feet below the ground surface. <br /> 2 . Confining Layer <br /> The Injection Formation is confined by the Upper Lathrop member <br /> of the Panoche Formation (McMullin Ranch nomenclature) . This in- <br /> terval occurs approximately between 7200 feet and 8088 feet below <br /> the ground surface. <br /> 15 <br />
