Self contained breathing aparatus and respirator available. <br /> b. Rubber Gloves <br /> C. Coverall Goggles <br /> d. Full Face Shields <br /> e. Rubber Boots <br /> f. Slicker Suit <br /> All protective clothing must be worn when making or breaking <br /> connections , sampling, cleaning or working on equipment. <br /> 3. Hazardous Properties <br /> a. Ammonia vapors are explosive in concentrations of 16 to 25% <br /> in air <br /> b. Reacts with with strong acids. <br /> _ <br /> C. Vapor causes severe burns when in contact with skin or eyes. <br /> f v' Can cause permanent eye damage. <br /> d. If inhaled can cause death. Threshold limit -50 ppm. <br /> 4. First Aid Procedures <br /> In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty <br /> of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated <br /> clothing and shoes. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. It not <br /> breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is <br /> difficult, give oxygen. If swallowed, if conscious , give large <br /> amounts of diluted vinegar, lemon ,juice or orange juice and <br /> follow with milk, or egg whites beaten with water.
