14.40 <br /> FINAL REVIEW <br /> Upon completion of any improvements which are constructed <br /> under and in conformance with these Standards and Specifica- <br /> tions , and prior to requesting final inspection, the area <br /> shall be thoroughly cleaned of all rubbish, excess material <br /> and equipment; and all portions of the work shall be left in a <br /> neat and orderly condition, satisfactory to the Director or <br /> Public Works and the Owner. <br /> Within 10 days after receiving the request for final <br /> inspection, the Director of Public Works shall inspect the <br /> work. The Contractor, Consulting Engineer, and Developer will <br /> be notified in writing as to any particular defects or <br /> deficiencies to be remedied. The Contractor shall proceed to <br /> correct any such defects or deficiencies at the earliest <br /> possible date. At such times, as the work has been completed, <br /> a second inspection shall be made by the Director of Public <br /> Works to determine if the previously mentioned defects have <br /> been repaired, altered and completed in accordance with these <br /> Standards and Specifications. <br /> When the work has been completed in accordance with the <br /> approved plans and specifications, the Director will recommend <br /> acceptance of the work to the Board of Supervisors. The <br /> Director will notify, in writing, the Contractor, Consulting <br /> Engineer and the Owner as to the date of approval and final <br /> acceptance. <br /> M - 7 <br />
