k. FENCING: Fencing shall comply with the following: <br /> (1) Any gate, other than gates for pedestrian use only, shall be set back or recessed a minimum of <br /> ten (10) feet from the property line unless there are at least sixteen (16) feet between the <br /> property line and the edge of the traveled roadway, in which case the setback requirement is <br /> waived. <br /> (2) All fencing shall comply with Development Code Section 9-1022. <br /> I. BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) Exterior walls less than twenty (20) feet from a property line shall be of one-hour, fire-resistive <br /> construction. Openings will not be permitted less than five (5) feet and protected less than ten <br /> (10)feet. <br /> (2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements(C.C.R.,title 24). <br /> m. FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of NFPA 1231 of the National Fire <br /> Code(static water supply). <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 Key Boxes:A knox box <br /> shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code,Volume 2, Standard <br /> 10-1. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property.C.F.C. 105.2.1 <br /> 2.
