%00 <br /> -6- <br /> 1. Fire flow will be provided for propose buildings by the <br /> use of: <br /> a. Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code (public <br /> water mains) . <br /> b. NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code (static water <br /> supply) . <br /> 2 . Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with <br /> Appendix III-B of the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> 3 . Fire systems shall be installed according to Article 10 <br /> of the California Fire Code and the appropriation <br /> standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the <br /> California building Code and the California Electrical <br /> Code. <br /> 4 . All valves controlling the water supply for automatic <br /> fire sprinkler systems and water-flow switches shall be <br /> monitored in accordance with 904 . 3 . 1 of the California <br /> Fire Code. <br /> 5 . Fire department access roads shall be in accordance <br /> with section 902 . 2 of the California Fire Code and the <br /> standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs <br /> Association. <br /> 6. Fire department access to buildings shall be in <br /> accordance with 902 . 4 Key Boxes: A knox box shall be <br /> installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> 7 . Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance <br /> with California Fire Code, Volume 2 , Standard 10-1. <br /> 8 . Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to <br /> conduct operations hazardous to life or property. <br /> C.F.C. 10. 2 . 1 <br /> M. GRADING PLAN: A grading plan shall be submitted by the <br /> applicant, and it shall be approved and a grading permit <br /> issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to any <br /> excavation or filling of each material. <br /> 2 .
