PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> An interview with Mr. Mike Manta was conducted to determine the history of the site and <br /> general septic conditions of the area. The 20 acre site was purchased by the Manta family in the <br /> early 1980's (about 20 years ago). Later it was sold to a bank trust account then purchased by <br /> Art and Judy Housley. Currently, the site is]eased to the Manta family. The 20 acre site <br /> presently contains cabernet vineyards for wine making. <br /> IV. SURROUNDING USAGE <br /> The site is bounded by Lower Sacramento Road to the east and by vineyards in all other <br /> directions. There are few homes in the area. The following interviews were conducted with <br /> available persons who reside near the site regarding the performance of their septic systems and <br /> water wells: <br /> STRUCTURE: Residence,400 yards+-north of site. <br /> OWNER Akira Komatsu,owner since 1930's. <br /> LOCATION: 22287 N.Lower Sacramento Road, Acampo, CA- <br /> SEPTIC <br /> ASEPTIC SYSTEM: Underground septic system, new leach lines 15 years ago, 1 leach line,60 feet long,one <br /> dry well.No problems with septic system. <br /> WATER WELL: Well never tested,no problems. <br /> STRUCTURE: Ranch building 600 yards+-south of site. <br /> OWNER Woodworth Estate Ranch, George and Julie Gillepse,family owned property since <br /> ` 1920's. <br /> LOCATION: 21995 N.Lower Sacramento Road, Acampo,CA <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Underground septic system 2-3 years old.Two leach lines,60 feet each,and one seepage <br /> — pit.No problems with septic system. <br /> WATER WELL: No known problems with well.Depth to water about 40 to 50 feet. <br /> STRUCTURE: Residence,located across the street–600 years from the road <br /> OWNER: George and Julie Gillepse owner. <br /> LOCATION: 22300 N.Lower Sacramento Road,Acampo,CA- <br /> SEPTIC <br /> ASEPTIC SYSTEM: Underground septic system, 2 leach lines,unknown if any dry wells.No problems with <br /> septic system. <br /> WATER WELL: Well caved in 15 years ago,replacement well installed <br /> A search of public records containing septic system permits, and water well permits, and <br /> water well logs was performed using the microfiche system the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Division.
