The approximate
26-1/2-acres included in this project currently contai-
an almond orchard. The majority of the site area
consists of agricultural and pasture land with scattered
farm houses.
On February 15, 1991, a representative of cur firm
visited the 4 residences located north and south of the
property along Murphy and Lore Tree Rcads . The purpose
of the visits was to obtain information on septic system
use and to inquire about any problems known to exist with
this method of sewage disposal. None of the residences
visited reported having problems with the performance of
their septic systems. The ages of the septic systems
were reported to be up to approximately 55 years old.
Two of the residents questioned indicated that their
wells produced "good" quality water and one indicated
their well produced "hard" water.
ITEM C-2 •
"Suitability of soil for development utilizing septic systems .
