There must be at least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to <br /> coordinate emergency response measures,and the following information must be posted by a phone:the name and <br /> phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment,and if present,fire <br /> alarm;and the phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br /> emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. Aform is provided that can be used for this <br /> purpose. Corrected on site. This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 109 CCR 66262.40(a) Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for December 2011 through December 2014 were not <br /> found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all <br /> receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for <br /> review. From this day forward retain all manifests and receipts for the last three years and maintain them on site. This <br /> is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 112 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for December 2011 through December 2014 were not found on site. <br /> Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used <br /> in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) <br /> hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include your hazardous <br /> waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities and required fields <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> The secondary containment for the used waste oil containers on the west side of the shop had oil spills inside of it. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the oil <br /> spill in the secondary containment, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br /> statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed.This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> An 80 gallon blue container of used oil and a 55 gallon container of used antifreeze on the west side of the shop were <br /> open during time of inspection . All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or <br /> removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste.
