The staff will include eight(8) adults Monday thru Friday for a maximum of six(6)hours <br /> per day. The school plans to continue using the existing septic system that was upgraded in 1995. <br /> Our office understands from Mr. Greg Potts and the City of Manteca Planning <br /> Department that the City's Master Plan includes a sewage disposal line that will eventually serve <br /> the site. <br /> M. PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> An interview with Mr. Greg Potts was conducted to determine the history of the site. The <br /> property has contained a small church facility since the early 1970's. The area surrounding the <br /> property contains a mix of commercial, educational, and residential uses. The property was <br /> recently purchased by Greg Potts and to his knowledge, no problems with the septic system or <br /> water well are known to exist. Mr. Potts indicated that the on-site water well was tested regularly <br /> by the County. <br /> IV. SURROUNDING USAGE <br /> The site is bounded by Calla High School to the south, undeveloped lots to the west, <br /> north, and east. Austin Road is located west of the site and consists of homes utilizing septic <br /> systems and water wells. Some small commercial business and Calla High School are located near <br /> the site. <br /> The following interviews were conducted with available persons who work near the <br /> subject property and/or have knowledge of septic system and water well performance: <br /> CONTACT: Frank Mellow,Director of Maintenance,Manteca School District <br /> LOCATION: Calla High School, 10500 E.Hwy 120,Manteca,CA <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: No problems <br /> WATER WELL: Tested regularly,no problem with nitrates,well was contaminated with bacteria when <br /> an access plug was left off. Presently,no problems. <br /> RENTER: Calla Market,Ms. Vicki Burtner <br /> LOCATION: 10390 E.Hyw 120,Manteca,CA <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Added one leach line to septic system 2 to 3 months ago,pumped tank,no problems. <br /> WATER WELL: No known problems with water well.
